Holiday Wishes

Our Holiday party is coming up fast! Here's a list of items the kids have said they hope to receive from Santa:

hot wheels race tracks
back packs & messenger bags
dolls, baby dolls & accessories
doll houses
skateboards or other thing with wheels you can ride
toy cell phones
soccer balls
diaries that lock with a key
wrist watch
connect 4 game
roller skates
stuffed animals
barbies
remote control cars
toy train sets
Max Steel action figures
dinosaur figures
toy instruments such as guitar

Other items we need:
--A low tech digital camera so we can share lots of photos with all our wonderful donors!

--White liquid glue (like Elmer's), large bottles are great. We use this much more than glue sticks which tend to dry out too quickly in this climate

--Notebooks, lined & graph paper

--Kids' clothes & shoes for our clothing bazaar fundraisers. Some suggestions:
Things that sell well are light-to-medium weight clothing for babies, children, teens and small adults sizes (XS, S or M-- anything larger is generally too big for locals). Think summer or spring clothes. Sneakers, sandals, & flip-flops are also popular items. Please don't feel the need to go out and buy new clothes, pick stuff up at your local thrift store if you must, or canvas your neighbors for their used clothes-- help recycle clothing and help Hekab Be!
